it is original design of vespa ape.. i really love this car.. if i got my money, i will kill it for this car.

Lupin again

This is the movie of Lupin 3RD, i think the style and mood is what we are seeking for...
For this movie, there's a little intro about the characters, and then plays the song i'm showing, then move on to the actual movie... so yeah...it's a very gd reference for our intro...

okay.. now to the main point of researching the city.. i found this book abt new york From 1960 to 1980.. very very very very thick book and it got quite alot of good images.. here i post some of them that are quite releant with our style... and i also found a sample of a church in the middle of tall buildings..

well.. ihav been doing research this morning... and i went to library to check some books abt buildings and stuffs... well, i happen to see a book of illustration by AMANO. in case people don't know abt it.. he is the guy who draw all final fantasy's logo plus some illustrations... then he is also the char design for an animation called "vampire hunter D". he is really popular for his art style.. well i only post 3 images.. of his ink artwork which might be a good ref for our comic.

haha.. this is some sample og digging machine that i found.. quite surprising

desc:
This is the largest digging machine (or trencher or rotating shovel) in the world. It was built by Krupp and is shown here crossing a road in Germany on the way to its destination, an open air coal mine. Although at the mine the treads are unnecessary, it was cheaper to make the machine self-propelled than to try and move it with conventional hauling equipment. Some factoids:

• The machine is 95 meters high and 215 meters long (almost 2.5 football fields in length)
• Weight is 45,500 tons (that's equivalent to a bumper to bumper line of jeeps 80 miles long)

Finalise Marto and Janise

Since Marto and Janise is the main character, i think we should be more picky about them 2...
for their outfit... i think darwin u can draw a few simular style outfit and align them together to see which one is better(just like those fashion design sketchs)...and can just use the same pose, and just change a bit of the out fit... eg the collar, the helmet, and the suit....

Now Janise has two outfit, digging and normal costume.....
and forget Marto's 5 years ago for now and just try different style of t-shirt....

Sorry.....i'm very sorry....that i can't do anything yet in hk...
my life is in a absolute disaster in hk....
1st. i don't even have a room for myself....i have to sleep in the lounge room....

2nd. i just fix my computer yesterday and use the LCD tv as my monitor....but no internet...

3rd. just finished a interior freelance job for my brother... did't sleep well for a wk....

4th. due to reason no.3 i caught a weird virus (facial nerve inflammation) that makes 1/2 of my face can't move...

but the only gd news is i won't go out anymore before i recover.... since my face is super weird now(just like picasso painting)....so i can concentrate on this again....;-(
