There is some refinements that needs to improve by using illustrator to trace the characters.....but i'm sure it is the quickest way to do it....please give me some comments..~!!
live trace is a very handy function, although.. it really need good solid drawing to trace from. otherwise the result will be quite flashy and vector graphic... I would suggest, before get it into illustrator... get it into photoshop 1st to make all the line solid and dark and correct all ther incorrect bit. it will make way better result(given 2 examples... the hands looks a bit messy)
